Jianlin’s Wanda Group has also consented to purchase Carmike Cinemas Inc., a contract that will make Wanda the proprietor of the greatest movie theater chain in the U.S. Wanda is one of a handful of Chinese groups that have been putting cash in the U.S. In 2016 more than $18 billion direct investment from China.
